Goals:
Level A1 aims to equip students with basic Spanish proficiency, enabling them to interact in a simple way with native speakers. This level is defined as that of a basic user of the language, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Functional Content:
It focuses on skills such as understanding short conversations about everyday matters, basic procedures, announcements, and messages. It also includes the ability to use polite phrases, ask for and give personal information, give presentations, and write simple notes.
Grammatical content:
A1 level students can use simple grammatical structures, with occasional errors. They also possess sufficient vocabulary to function in everyday situations and on familiar topics.
Oral and written texts:
This includes the ability to process spoken texts and produce them intelligibly, emphasizing the importance of appropriate acoustic conditions. Regarding written texts, the expected level is the comprehension of essential information in short texts and the production of simple texts related to everyday life.
Strategic content:
Students activate basic strategies for planning, monitoring, and repairing communication. They also employ strategies that promote autonomy in learning, becoming aware of cultural diversity and adopting an open attitude toward other cultures.
Sociocultural content:

Goals:
Level A2 aims to equip students to perform simple tasks and meet immediate needs in predictable situations. By the end of this level, students are expected to understand common phrases and expressions related to relevant areas of experience and to be able to describe basic aspects of their past and surroundings.
Functional Content:
The functional content is detailed, ranging from understanding phrases and vocabulary on personal topics to the ability to carry out social exchanges and write short and simple texts in the present, past and future tenses.
Grammatical content:
The student's ability to correctly use simple grammatical structures, even when making mistakes, is highlighted. On a lexical level, vocabulary related to concrete, everyday needs is acquired.
Oral and written texts:
The ability to understand and produce oral and written texts is described, with emphasis on understanding short texts and producing messages and texts in different registers.
Strategic content:
The basic strategies that the student can activate to plan, control and repair communication are addressed, as well as strategies that promote autonomy in learning, becoming aware of cultural diversity and adopting an open attitude towards other cultures.
Sociocultural content:
The basic user's ability to respect register differences, observe basic rules of courtesy, and function effectively in social situations is emphasized. Level A2 marks the beginning of an awareness of cultural diversity and the influence of one's own cultural identity on the interpretation of other cultures. Furthermore, the basic user becomes familiar with cultural references and social norms associated with the Spanish language.
Goals:
Level B1 aims to equip students to function in diverse situations, such as travel, social interactions, and educational and professional settings. Students are expected to acquire the skills to use the language with ease, flexibility, and accuracy in both everyday and less common contexts.
Functional Content:
The functional contents are detailed, including the use of a broad but simple repertoire of vocabulary, learned structures and formulas, as well as the transfer of information, issuance of value judgments, and familiarization with cultural references from Spain and Latin America.
Grammatical content:
Three stages (B1.1, B1.2, and B1.3) are distinguished in the student's grammatical development, progressing from reasonably correct usage in predictable situations to correct communication in everyday situations. The increased use of complex sentences and attention to cohesive devices are noteworthy.
Oral and written texts:
The skills of understanding and producing oral and written texts are described, addressing the comprehension of short or medium-length texts on everyday and general topics, as well as the production of well-organized texts appropriate to the context.
Strategic content:
The student's ability to employ communication and learning strategies is highlighted, demonstrating autonomy in planning and executing tasks. The beginning of independence in the use of cultural strategies is also mentioned.
Sociocultural content:
At level B1, students are expected to be aware of the differences between the Spanish-speaking community and their native language. They consolidate their knowledge of cultural references and social norms associated with the language they are learning, with the ability to identify significant differences.
Goals:
Level B2 aims to equip students to live independently in Spanish-speaking areas, develop social relationships, and function effectively in work and educational environments. The goal is for students to use the language fluently and naturally in both everyday and complex situations, employing varied vocabulary and complex structures.
Functional Content:
Skills highlighted include understanding lectures, speeches, news and films, as well as participating in fluent conversations, debates and detailed presentations on topics of general or specialized interest.
Grammatical content:
Although minor syntactic errors persist, the B2 level student demonstrates good grammatical control, with infrequent mistakes and self-correction. A knowledge of grammatical terminology and metalanguage is assumed.
Oral and written texts:
The skills of understanding and producing complex oral and written texts are detailed, showing the ability to understand and produce clear and detailed messages in various contexts and registers.
Strategic content:
The B2 level student is able to use communication and learning strategies independently. This level is characterized by the beginning of autonomy in learning tasks and the use of cultural strategies to analyze differences from their own perspective.
Sociocultural content:
At level B2, students are expected to express themselves clearly and politely in different registers, demonstrating knowledge of cultural references and the ability to react according to social norms and conventions. Emphasis is placed on an awareness of cultural complexity and the general use of cultural elements.
Goals:
The C1 level, achieved after completing 180 hours of coursework, aims to equip students to function with a high level of competence in situations requiring advanced language use. The focus is on acquiring skills that allow students to interact fluently and effectively in personal, professional, and academic contexts, demonstrating a deep and nuanced understanding of complex texts and expressing themselves clearly and precisely.

The ability to understand difficult, conceptually and structurally complex oral and written texts on a variety of subjects is a distinctive feature of the C1 level. The production of extended and detailed oral and written texts, with advanced use of linguistic resources, is an integral part of this level.

The C1 level student demonstrates a high degree of autonomy in the use of communication and learning strategies. They can anticipate and prepare key points in their messages, plan learning tasks effectively, and analyze cultural differences from various perspectives.
Sociocultural content:
At this level, students demonstrate a greater awareness of the cultural complexity of Spanish-speaking societies. They possess advanced knowledge of cultural elements, values, beliefs, and attitudes, as well as the ability to adapt to different registers and communication styles.

The C2 level is characterized by the ease of understanding any type of spoken and written language, even in noisy environments or with varied accents. The production of oral and written texts is fluent, clear, and detailed, adapting to different styles and registers.
Strategic content:
The C2 level student uses metacognitive, discursive, and learning strategies with great effectiveness. They can infer attitudes and intentions, plan linguistic structures, and use pre-established discourse. They develop the skills of a cultural mediator and refine stereotypes.
Sociocultural content:
