This portal has been created following the guidelines of the Transparency Commissioner of the Government of the Canary Islands and in compliance with Law 12/2014, of December 26, on transparency and access to public information, of the Government of the Canary Islands. Furthermore, this portal has been developed with European Funds allocated to the Government of the Canary Islands, as well as under the Directorate General for Community Funds of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations.

All our programs offer flexible schedules and are taught using a methodology that guarantees a suitable response to each student's needs, with fully personalized progress.

Corporate purpose

LC Idiomas GC, SL aims to provide teaching and training activities for both children and adults, covering all levels from beginner to advanced. It offers language courses (English, Spanish for foreigners, German, French, and others), academic support classes, preparation for official exams (Oxford Test of English, Cambridge, DELE, SIELE), as well as conversation workshops and language immersion programs abroad.

Language instruction is offered in various formats: in-person at academies, at partner educational centers, in companies (in-company training), and online or in a blended format. In addition, the organization hosts cultural activities and training seminars, integrating innovative and technological methodologies for language learning.

The company ceased to be a sole proprietorship after the entry of a second partner in August 2024, Mr. Francisco Castellano Valerón.

Regulations and Internal Organization

LC Idiomas GC, SL has a regulatory framework that guarantees legal compliance, efficient internal organization, and the promotion of ethical and social values. Each of the regulatory instruments is actively applied in the organization's daily operations

  • Code of ethics and conduct: signed by all staff upon joining and reinforced through annual training sessions on integrity and institutional values.
  • Internal regulations: establishes the operational processes, communication protocols and hierarchical structure, reviewed periodically by management.
  • Equality plan: includes work-life balance measures, inclusive language and promotion of female leadership, with supervision in the processes of selection and evaluation of personnel.
  • Prevention of occupational risks: annual assessments with a specialized company and specific action plans according to the position and workplace.
  • Data protection: clauses in all contracts, control mechanisms for access to information, and specific training for staff handling sensitive data.
  • Functional organizational chart: allows for clear and efficient management of responsibilities, and is updated with each organizational change.
  • Anti-corruption policies: currently under development, will be incorporated soon through internal control procedures and declarations of conflicts of interest.

Contracting and Agreements

LC Idiomas GC, SL has signed contracts and collaboration agreements with public bodies such as the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands (ITC), the Canary Special Zone (ZEC), BRICAN Gran Canaria, the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP), the Canary Federation of Municipalities (FECAN) and the FEDAC Foundation.
